What’s new in DayStart

November 3, 2026: listen on the website

• The home page plays today’s show. Open daystartai.app and press play. No app, account or card. Story cards move along with the audio.
• Charts on the story cards. Some stories now come with a chart, drawn from data and labeled with its source. Every number is checked by code first. How we check the numbers.
• Why: the quickest way to know if DayStart is for you is to hear it.

November 3, 2026: version 2026.11.10, the story feed

• A full-screen story feed. Each story fills the screen while it plays. Swipe up for the next one.
• The free show gets story cards, so you can follow along as it plays.
• Why: following the news should feel as easy as scrolling.

November 2, 2026: version 2026.11.09, DayStart Free

• One daily show, free for everyone. The day’s Top Story first, then the news, ready by 7:00 AM ET. About 4 minutes. No account and no card.
• Premium builds it around your day: your calendar, the weather where you’re headed, and the topics, teams and stocks you pick.
• Why: you should be able to hear a whole show before you decide anything.

October 29, 2026: version 2026.10.27, Tell DayStart

• Set it up by saying what you want. Type or say how you like your mornings, and DayStart fills in the settings for you to check. It’s also at the top of the Edit screen when you want a change. Part of Premium.
• Why: one sentence is easier than a page of settings.
